yesterday we rode into Arco, ID. I succeeded at riding 25 miles with no hands! the road was perfect and wind was minimal. About twenty miles from Arco a few of us stopped to check out the first nuclear reactor in the world called EBR-1. It was in the middle of nowhere. In town we stopped at pickle place where i ordered a burger and some fries - delicious. I later came back for a shirt and a boysenberry milkshake. That was the 3rd pickle restaurant we have run into, therefore, providing us with a third pickle dance (examine the pickle’s stance).
Today - Challis, ID. Much of the day was windy, as we have gotten a lot of in the west. There were many pretty sights such as the canyon we rode through where the road looked like it just stopped. The best part was our host. It was a christian retreat right next to a river and huge mountains. Emma and I climbed one of the mountains right when we got in - very steep climb that led to a 360 view of the area. Dave met us at the top too. Dinner from our hosts was amazing. Everything was so fresh and yummy… thank you.
