~46 mile ride from Dillwyn to Charlottesville today. It is getting more hilly each day - I love it. Rolling hills today which weren’t steep but they were fun. Beautiful back roads. I showed up to the the University of Virginia with two of the four graduated students from there. They showed a few of us around campus on our bikes and then other bike&builders piled into “the lawn” that we were being taught about on grounds. Then we ventured over to a sorority where we would all stay for three nights.
Later in the day all of us were provided food at The Haven, a new homeless center in town. Then we walked around, got ice cream, went to the brewery, and headed to a bar for karaoke. Dave and I were the first to hit it off with Drop it Like it’s Hot. great success, ton of fun, we plan on going for round two in some other town. Then others sang some songs and we headed to the lawn for some late fun… then bed. Had a blast - BUILD DAY TOMORROW !!!
