I am biking across America in order to raise money and awareness for the affordable housing issue. The Central US group and I plan to take off May 21st from Virgina Beach, VA and end up in Canon Beach, OR by July 31st. Along the way we will trade our bikes for hammers and build/repair homes for affordable housing organizations approximately once a week.
ride from suffolk to Waverly, VA (~56.5 miles), located in a very poor county. very small town. the main attraction was the USA’s first and only peanut museum where I purchased a peanut key chain :) hose showers after the ride
